Course Description

This course prepares the students to translate their business innovations into a technology start-up company. Students will get an opportunity to learn from startups in the city of the study mission and apply the skills learnt in this course to their own start-up company.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. Create a business proposal based on technology-based business innovation

2. Identify the business case of the business proposal

3. Identify the value created to the customers with the business proposal

4. Offer a technology-based business innovation

5. Prioritize the product/services that are to be offered by the start up

6. Identify the different risks in the business proposal

7. Plan the product development time frames

8. Identify potential threats to the plans

9. Group project work

10. Forecast possible disruptions to the plans

11. Identify opportunities and threats in different geographies

12. Identify business partners beyond Singapore

13. Prepare and present the Business Proposal to Investors

14. Write a Business Proposal
