Course Description
CS471 is to allow students to continue with the research project done during CS470 OR to embark on a new research project (and there should not be any significant overlap with your CS470 research project).
Course Learning Outcomes
Develop a project proposal specifying the research area, the goal of the research and a plan to achieve the research goal
Conduct research with appropriate methodology
Write a term paper that includes a literature review, problem formulation, evaluation
Expose to research seminars and deliver a summary report
